Four of us ate there 1st November 2008 and must say that the food was very good. Dopiatza and Madras were excellent,as was one of the special dishes (cant recall the name). Also nice starters. Good service from attentive well mannered and friendly waiters. Nice beers on offer too. Place settings basic but very clean, Ladies received single flower at the end. Nice touch.
Will certainly visit again.

Sultan Mahal has been open since 1987. An excellent place to take your family and friends by far the best in Halifax. excellent service excellent food and recently refurbished to a good level. oh and ask for my favourite waiter taz.
