been getting take aways from here for years and always superb, forget the Spice Club, we tried it once and realised that The Surma is the best Indian for miles

Myself and a few friends visited after the pub one night, and were delighted to find the staff were pleased to seat us. The menu itself is quite limited and the temperature of the food could have been hotter, but we couldn't fault the service. Could probably benefit from a few signature dishes.

Previous review looks a bit suspect. However, I would rate this as the one of, if not the, best Indian restaurants on the Wirral in terms of food. It's not the last word in interior style, but you won't care. It always delivers fantastic food, decent service and all at really good prices. I only wish I lived closer.
