The most oversized fish tank in a restaurant you may ever see (and new or less fish every week! (joke))
Lovely comfortable atmosphere and great service; refreshingly unpretentious. I can't comment on how authentic the food may or may not be as i am derived from a "beans on toast" type Caucasian family, but it tastes great and compared to other "higher profile" establishments, the value is ridiculous. If i had one gripe there is (for me) occasionally too much ghee in the curries but i still can't get enough!.

Along with my family and a large circle of friends, I have been eating at the Sweet Centre for over 25 years, from when Habib ran it before he got his own restaurant until now when Waqir and his father run it. It is a family cafeteria style restaurant and it is always good to see families of all ethnicities enjoying the food. I have never had a 'bad' experience and the food is excellent and extremely good value for money. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. If anyone wants to try Asian cuisine at a traditional level then this is where they need to be!!. Long may it prosper..........Dave Baldwin

My family and I have been regulars at the sweet centre for many years. In my opinion its the best place for a great Indian meal.
Recently we had a group of us use the function room ( at no extra cost) for a family birthday meal which just added a lovely intimate bonus to the evening. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the waiters.
Ten out of ten!!!

Absolutely the worst Indian meal I have ever had in my life. Service was fine, no problem with the lack of drinks license, but the food was appalling

We visited the Sweet Centre in November and were thoroughly impressed with the service, the quality and the whole experience. The food was fantastic, and exactly to my taste ! this is a genuine, authentic Asian Restaurant and superb value for money - NB the Sweet Centre does not have an alcohol license, but they will not be offended if you bring your own.

The Sweet Centre is Bradfords oldest Asian restaurant, originally established by a first generation Asian gentleman in 60's who made samosas for the mill workers - in those days sold by the Ilb. The Sweet Centre is now run by his son and gransons with love and dedication. The Sweet Centre does not need a million pound show off, conference room make-over for thier USP, they serve great food, provide a quietly competent service and the best value for money in Bradford.
