having for many years struggled to find a good quality restaurant & bar in macclesfield it was then i was recommended to try SYLK , great surroundings a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere and food to just die for, have now recommended to all my family & friends and work colleagues and will be returning on a very regular basis.....many thanks to the team down there!!

We have eaten at this lovely restaurant a number of times, both at lunch time and in the evening and it is always a delight. Last night we were 4 people - 3 generations and we all had a wonderful meal and a lovely evening. Darren's soups- are fantastic - a must try and the menu is imaginative and the food excellent. Carl and the waiting staff always makes you feel welcome. One of our favorite restaurants!

Have eaten here twice in the last three weeks, excellent food with good (but not over facing) portions and a welcoming atmosphere that is just perfect for the food, not too stuffy but also not too boisterous with comfortable waiting/bar area. The food? I had the steak in ale suet pie which was excellent and,second time, had the fillet steak which was probably the most appropriately cooked medium rare I have ever had in the UK. Will be back soon!

We dined at Sylk last week and were extremely impressed. The service was exceptional and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a lovely relaxed bar area and light and bright dining area. The food was excellent and very good value and the fact that they now have live entertainment on a Sunday is a fab asset. Will certainly be dining there again soon.

What a wonderful restaurant, everything's made fresh in house nothing is bought in. Staff are so friendly and you feel relaxed the second you walk in. If you want good food at a good price and friendly relaxed service you just have to try Sylk. I understand that they are going for a rosette soon which i think is well deserved, cant wait for my next visit.

A friend mentioned how good the meal they had a few weeks ago I went along to see for myself. Great food, value for money, pleasant surroundings and friendly staff and lovely home made fudge to finish. Will be back again for the early bird menu as I wanted to try all the starters and had to restrict myself to one and the same with the main. I will also be back to try the other menus offered as I like the way they offer different menus and pricings throughout the day and night. Well worth a visit.
