While it's not easy to spot from the road - we drove past it twice - this is a nice little place with good service and a remarkable selection of beers. We had the Christmas menu and were very impressed, particularly by the tomato soup and the creme brulee. Will be back.

Really nice chilled out restaurant/wine bar. Food is very filling and tasty. do specials and early birds. Varied range of top uk & european beers & lagers.

I have visited the Symposium on a few occasions with my wife. The restaurant is fairly small with on street parking only. There is a sizeable bar area with a very good wine list.
Food is good and is served in a friendly and efficient manner and is mainly English. Worth a visit.
