After a great night at the barbican kitchen we felt we had to try the Flagship site! really glad we did we heard it was expensive we felt it was excellent value for sublime food and the pleasure of eating in such an historic building these boys know how to run restaurants ! you have to go you will not be disappointed

Two courses for £13.50... cheaper than eating in a pub, well, a half decent one! Food is always divine, the beef stew was hearty, and the ice creams/ sorbets were glorious! I? truly a fan of Chris and James! and the team.. only gripe, was the seat near the chimney was a bit drafty, but, that? didn? matter....

Wasn't keen to go for our Xmas meal as no beef, lamb, venison etc, only 2 fish, 2 fowl & 1 veggies option. glad I put reservation aside though as meal and service was excellent, would recommend anytime

After hearing great things about this place we had to visit. We were told it was expensive, well if a three course lunch for £16 for great food, service and place to dine is expensive what? cheap? Great local produce cooked to perfection! Served in a relaxed but professional manner. All in all a great venue, Can't wait to visit again or try their new venture the 'barbican kitchen'

It's all relative and although this place is pricier than some other restaurants you really do get what you pay for. I can't recommend it highly enough everything about this place was fabulous - if you want somewhere truly wonderful for that special occasion visit this place!
Tanners Restaurant
You have to go!! even got to see James Tanner himself, in the flesh!! that besides, the food is always fab, and service attentive, We sat in the courtyard at lunch, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits! The puddings are to die for!! especially the chocolate mousse...mmmmmm!
Tanners Restaurant
Outstanding food in an fantastic setting. The 15th centuary building created a fantastic ambience that just cannot be beaten. Make sure you book for a table.
Tanners Restaurant
Fantastic food, the five courses for £29 is fab, the amuse bouche the best! Iam a fussy vegetarian, and always enjoy the food at Tanners..I dare anyone to disaggree!!
