Thoroughly recommended. Have eaten here on numerous occasions. Food and service, both fantastic. Great atmosphere.

Wow, Liverpool has its very own piece of Spain! I felt like I was on holiday. The Spanish staff were very attentive, the atmosphere was fantastic and the food was amazing! I couldn't fault it one bit and cannot wait to return again. It is by far the best restaurant in Liverpool. We went with some friends on 21 Jan 2012 and after a lovely evening we decided to try out its basement bar Bodega. What a brilliant night we had! It reminded me of a night out I once had in Seville. The bar is cosy and looks like what I imagine The famous Cavern to have been like with it's bricked archways. The cocktails are delicious but my absolute favourite was the chocolate shots - the glasses are actually made of yummy chocolate! Thanks Tapas Tapas for bringing some wonderful Spanish culture to Liverpool!

We was recently in the restaurant (city centre) on Friday 11th march, apart from the meal tasting like it had all been previously cooked and warmed up in a microwave we was also disgusted with what happened when paying the bill.. We chose to pay by debit card the waiter come over with the machine and put the card into it. I never put any pin in or pressed anything at all the waiter all of a sudden told us the pin was blocked but we had not put any pin in yet??!! We was telling him we knew quite well there was money in there and he said that is the message coming up on the machine so we all had to scramble together money to pay. When we left we went straight to the cash machine and drew money out there and then? Even though the waiter told us that we most probably wouldn’t be able to how he knew that I will never no obviously trying to fiddle us! It was also a special occasion (dad birthday) and was there for a treat to pay for a nice meal for him instead we was embarrassed and felt really ashamed having to scramble money off everyone at the table when we knew quite well we had money. Wouldn’t mind but the food was horrible as well will not return..!

Vile!!! My husband and I took our little boy for his first tapas experience yesterday and It wasn't a pleasant one. The staff were friendly enough but the food was awful I was really disappointed. We had the lamb which had no hint of garlic or rosemary, the pork ribs which tasted of curry, the potatoed bravas which were tasteless, steak which again tasted of curry and the garlic king prawn which came when we had finished the other dishes and they were too tasteless and like much. The best part of the meal was the bread and the meatballs, and although we had a 50% voucher the bill still came to £33.00 which I really begrudged paying as I was bitterly disappointed with the whole experience.

Excellent!! The food is fantastic, the staff are very helpful and it's not too expensive. We went for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. There's lots of choice on the menu and it's much better than the other tapas restaurants in town. Plus you can download a 50% discount from Sugarvine valid to the end of September - another great reason to go back!

Quite simply excellent. Really was a genuine feel to the atmosphere and food and you could not be disappointed with the place. Not overpriced but not the cheapest too but I would choose this over other tapas places in the city centre everytime.

We went to Tapas Tapas recently as a party of four, and we all were very impressed with the quality of the food. Our party included a vegetarian who also found plenty of choices to select from. We had obtained a 50% off voucher from via this website which was amazing as it must have saved us about £50. We shall definitely be visiting again, and recommend anyone to go, especially if you can get the voucher as it makes it terrific value.

Really disappointing. Visited Tapas Tapas for the first time last night and was treated to surly service and barely edible food. This was the worst meal out Ihave had for a long time.
We were shoved at the back of an empty restaurant (at 8pm), down a side corridor bit. The Olives were the first thing we ate and they were disgusting all green (not and black as listed on the menu) and tasted like the tinned variety you get from hotel minibars... Not tasty. We should have left at this point, but gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt...
The salad was simply sad and the tapas was a bit congealed and clearly microwaved - served all on one plate and dumped on the table with a grunt a barely concealed look of disgust. All the ingredients tasted like the cheapest of the cheapest. I could have made a much nicer meal at home and I am no great cook.
The wine was nice but the waiter spilt quite a lot on the table and only very begrudgingly wiped it up after about 5 minutes - overall the service was apathetic, unfriendly and churlish.
This was really disappointing as I have been recommended this restaurant by a lot of people - and perhaps it was simply an off night - but this was a really bad restaurant experience and I will never be returning. A really shame, but I left with the feeling I'd just been robbed of both a pleasant restaurant experience and about £45...

Have eaten here a few times now, most recently this Tuesday 27 April 2010. Gets better with each visit! Easily my favourite restaurant in Liverpool and the best Tapas I've ever had. Atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are attentive and polite. The fact that the staff are Spanish makes for a really genuine Spanish dining experience.
The food is excellent, loads of choice and the prices are very reasonable aswell. Will definitely be returning again and again. I recommend the Waterloo sister restaurant equally highly aswell!

AMAZING!!!!! My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday night for our 4 year anniversary! The ambience was perfect, and it felt cosy and welcoming, which was just what we wanted given our special occasion. The staff are just fantastic and as they are from Spain, gives the restaurant the authenticity that most tapas restaurants in Liverpool lack. And the food.... where do I begin! It was delicious! We ordered the basket of bread with parsley and olive oil dip which was fresh. We then ordered three tapas each, including gambas pil pil (succulent prawns in olive oil), meatballs, chorizo, patatas bravas and the most amazing tapas on the menu - Calamari with garlic and herb dip. The meat was so tender and all dishes were extremely fresh! We ordered a jug of sangria to top it all off which complemented the dishes. The service is first class and you feel as though you're in Spain due to the decor and rustic feel! All in all great food, great staff, reasonable prices! Why would anyone ever bother going anywhere else!!!
