One of a handful of Lancashire winners of the Seafish Fryers Quality award, Taylors of Blackpool is ideally located if you are visiting Blackpool for the Illuminations.

About Taylors Fish And Chips

Opposite Blackpool's Halfway House pub and ideally located if you are visiting the town, particularly for the Illuminations, Taylors is one of only a handful of Lancashire chippies to have received the coveted Sea Fish Fryers Quality Award and was voted best Blackpool chip shop by readers of the Evening Gazette. Customers have the option of Take Away or Eat in and deliveries are provided on request. The Dining Room is a smart addition and its bright and fresh colour scheme and nice touches like magazines and fresh flowers add to the eating experience. Owner Tracy says that the Taylors Team serves ‘Proper Food’ such as homemade tartar sauce and a daily, freshly prepared special served alongside a selection of soft drinks and hot beverages. Taylors is open Monday to Saturday at lunch and dinner. Coach parties during the illuminations are welcome and Taylors has been a pet-friendly diner for more than 10 years. Recently voted runner-up in the Best Chippy in Blackpool awards.

Fantastic! Spotless dining room quaint lovely service and great people. The haddock was to die for comes from Peterhead to fleetwood delivered fresh every day. My husbands a fisherman and most fish and chip shops in our area sell pollock not haddock so thrilled we found this place( saves going to Whitby for the day)! Try it you won't be disappointed haddock and chips with peas and a tea or coffee £5.

I run a fish and chip supper for about 26 elderly and disabled people in Molyneux Drive, Blackpool, close to Taylors. We always pre order our fish and chips, and collect them = and we get beautifully cooked fish and chips, already packed and put into my car - and thoroughly enjoy them. Wouldnt go anywhere else. First rate service by friendly people.

The best fish and chip takeaway we have had in a long time. The guy behind the counter asked if we wanted it lightly battered or not, which I thought was great service. As a result the very fresh fish was melt in the mouth. Chips were perfect too. The staff were very nice and chatty too. Will definitely return!
