Ideally situated in Woodley Precinct shopping area, the family run Taylors has been serving the area with award-winning fish & chips since 1969. Run by Anne and her family, fish and chips have been in the family for four generations since her great grandmother first ran a shop in Barnsley. Locally renowned for the quality of service and food standards, the business is committed to investing in the local community. More than a fish & chip shop, the operation focuses on a programme of staff training and development which teaches the staff in all aspects of customer service. Today you will find a newly refurbished 50-cover restaurant, takeaway and training school. The main menu covers all your favourites plus healthier steamed choices, salads and jackets with homemade curries and chilli a speciality. Open Monday-Saturday 11.30am-7pm.

I have been going here for years and they serve the best fish and chips for many a mile. Friends I have brought here have loved the atmosphere and the quality of the food. My personal suggestion to any new visitors is go for the chips and delicious gravy.
