We went to the Baltic for the first time last Sunday, I'm a big beer lover so the brew pub thing made my day.
We ordered home-made roasted tomato soup and the stuffed portabello mushrooms to start and the welsh lamb and roast rib eye beef for our main. The food was delicious, traditional food done very well. my partner and I were surprised at the amount and quality of the food we ordered and it was only 9.95 for 2 courses.
We found the staff very good and friendly and more than wiling to talk about the history of the fabulous building and the brewery.

The pub stands all alone on a busy road and I was a little dubious about taking my Mum in for lunch. It was a little rundown inside but only added to its' charm. There was a surprisingly extensive and sophisticated menu. We both plumped for Scaborough cod in beer batter with maris piper chips, homemade mushy peas, samphire and lime tatare sauce. Absolutely fabulous! and very reasonably priced. I look forward to future visits to explore their menu.

We went for a quick lunchtime bite. The food was excellent.
A brunch half stack (sausages, eggs, toast, bacon & black pudding).
Black pudding & wild mushrooms on ciabbata
Chickpea, chorizo, cabbage soup with crusty bread.
The prices were reasonable.
Food was sourced locally - Muffs Black Pudding & Sausages.
Friendly staff.
And of course it's own brewery and fantastic range of beers on offer.
