Had a few meals here now. Every one excellent quality, and all different to the others. Proper quality grub, and if it's not on the menu, and he's got the ingredients, Chef will rustle it up.
Overall: great food and service.

The new owners have changed this back into an English eatery. Had a really nice evening meal here just before Xmas with my wife: smoked duck pre-starter, fresh mussels with cider & bacon, pheasant terrine, duck leg with bubble & squeak, belly pork with black pudding, a lemon posset and baked figs with honey ice cream. Three (well four!) courses and a bottle of Marlborogh Pinot Noir was about £50. Amazing value and incredible quality
