About The Black Bottle
The Black Bottle in Winchester is a wine bar with more than 120 wines on offer from around the world. It’s housed in a small two-storey building dating back to the 19th century with three rooms on each floor. Wines by the glass are dispensed from the eight-bottle Enomatic dispensers which sit in separate red and white wine rooms situated on both floors. You buy a prepaid card from the bar, stroll around and choose your wine then select the glass size you want – 25ml taster, 125ml or 175ml. The downstairs bar serves wines by the bottle as well as bottled beers, spirits and soft drinks. The Black Bottle isn’t a restaurant but does have tapas plates of of Iberico ham and cheese served on wooden plates which complement the wines. the Michelin-starred Black Rat Restaurant and the Black Boy Pub are both sister establishments.Write a Review
