I usually find I am lucky if there is one course on the menu which appeals so it was a pleasant change to be presented with real choices from starter through to dessert. We were not disappointed in terms of quality but the portion served up for a main course was too nouvelle cuisine for my taste - or wallet.
Service was efficient without being especially welcoming while the dining experience, which should have been enhanced by the drama of the architecture, was diminished by the constant dull thud of what passed for music emanating from the bar next door where we had thought better of partaking of a pre prandial or two on exposure to its sight and sound.
