My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Cottage. We were very impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant and were able to choose from a comprehensive menu. Our evening meals were delicious on both nights, and were cooked to perfection. The staff were both friendly and attentive- nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was also a big success. We felt that the cost of our stay at The Cottage represented extremely good value for money. We shall definitely be making a return visit in the near future

I must say the food was very enjoyable, similar to a couple of other local restaurants i eat at but a lot more expensive.....I really do think if you alter your food prices your restaurant will do a lot more business....Try it and see....Many thanks Gordon

Excellent, we dine at the Cottage infrequently but often enough to now we will be well served with a very good meal and a quality wine. No need to rush, just sit back and enjoy the evening with your guests with confidence the service will match.

I have visited the Cottage Restaurant on numerous occasions, The intervals between visits have been infrequent, but the high standard of food and service has been maintained.
The restaurant is formal, but very friendly with efficient but not intrusive service.
The wines have proved to be good commensurate with the price.
