We went to the Cottage last Sunday, and we were not happy at all. My 'seared aubergine with onions' consisted of a pile of greasy onions with three tiny slivers of aubergine hidden underneath. We did complain about this, but nothing was done to amend it. My partner's duck looked and tasted remarkably like beef. This used to be a good restaurant, but we're not going back.
