The Counting House opened a couple of years ago on the site of a former HSBC bank on Sea View Street in Cleethorpes. It has retained many of the bank’s original features including the high ceilings, parquet floors and black and white tiles plus the original bank vault which now doubles as an atmospheric private dining room. Add in the green leather seating and solid wooden bar and there’s a real Art Deco feel to The Counting House. The bar has a huge range of premium spirits and cocktails with mixologists on hand to help you decide. Food-wise, you can enjoy a light lunch, afternoon tea or in the evening a selection of Italian thin-base pizzas, steaks and burgers cooked on the Kopa Charcoal BBQ grill and mains ranging from Asian Street Stir Fry and Caribbean Curry to the Fresh Seafood Board and a Trio of Lincolnshire Sausages. The Counting House has some good-value special offers available on both food and cocktails and every Thursday is Acoustic Night.
