I returned to Pebbles after a two year break and sadly, the menu had shrunk and the food was average. Last time, we were offered locally sourced pork and other meats, it was beautifully cooked and served with seasonal vegetables served at just the right degree of crispness. Not so on this visit, the range of dishes on offer was poor and the medium rare steak arrived very well done. We felt sorry for the two people on duty, they were very helpful and obliging but this did not disguise the very mediocre food.

Excellent fully refurbished Restaurant, non smoking everywhere.
The food is perfection, cooked by award winning Chef, Roy Currah, ex Wheatsheaf at Beetham. Service is slick, 9 fabulous bedrooms upstairs. They have a daily special board & a 6-7 menu mon - thurs, well worth a look !!
