I had the pleasure of being wined and dined at the farmers arms this valentines, the restaurant was full not a table empty ,the service was still to a very high standard as was the food. There was also a live group to entertain who were fab. This has become my favourite place to eat but don't take my word for it try for yourself you won't be sorry.
Herby
Lovely place! 2 of us went last month and had a great lunch, wonderful ambience, clean in decoration and hygiene and good, professional staff. It must be tried - just don't go too quickly down the Goldcliff road or you'll miss it - and that would be a tragedy!
Me
Absolutely disgusting place!!! I don't think the place has ever been cleaned by the look of it, I have seen the landlord scratch his balls, play with the dog and then serve customers pints and take out meals!!! The place stinks of dog and the meals are terrible. Would not recommend I'm afraid until they bother to buy a mop and bucket and clean the place from top to toe and get rid of that dog that is always hanging around, a place that serves food is no place for a dog!
happily married
we arrived and had to wait ages for a table, the staff seemed clueless, no management, the table was dirty, even though it was quiet. the food was returned because one meal was cold and the other was the wrong order. the other 2 customers in the pub seemed to be highly intoxicated. I was very disappointed.
Smithy
It was a amazing place with lovely surroundings, i would recommend that families could go here for a lovely evening
