Disgusting attitude and customer service from the Landlady, my meal very poor and tasteless and were overcharged for food we never ordered...upon complaint received no apology and absolute barrage of abuse from her...shameful in front of her other Customers...avoid at all costs!

Despite confusing notices to the contrary, this fine pub is open for bar food on Saturday afternoons.
Not a huge choice for vegetarians but food was home cooked and well presnted.
Portion size was generous.
This was a welcoming friendly pub with a real log fire.
