About The Ginger Bistro

The Ginger Bistro is a smart neighbourhood restaurant that opened at the end of 2018 in Fulwood, Preston. It’s on the site of what was Slice of Sicily on Garstang Road and is a first solo venture for chef-patron Soji Joseph, who previously spent 13 years as head chef at The Walled Garden at Barton Grange. The venue has an upmarket feel with wooden floors and panelling and striking blue banquettes and is open all day from 10am-3pm and 5pm-10pm, Monday to Saturday. You can drop in for breakfast for all the family or lunch with a choice of nibbles, light bites or something more substantial with a good-value set menu served at lunch every day and early evening Monday to Thursday. The evening a la carte menu offers diners a good choice of vegetarian and vegan starters and mains as well as meat and fish options and steaks from the grill. And a good selection of cocktails and wines complement the accomplished cooking.

Wish we lived here, we were travelling and found this place ! The food we ordered was so delicious. The fish and chips and also the vegetarian daal with rice were both so tasty. Will definitely come back!
