My Mum and Dad and I stayed at this hotel in May 2012 for one night and we couldn't fault the food.
It was 'pub food' expertly cooked.
We had Roast dinner which is what they do on a Sunday.
Then my Dad had Apple crumble pie and I had ginger sponge, both were delicious.
They are a hotel so they also do B&B, so we experienced the full English breakfast too, which again was just what you would expect and expertly cooked.

I recommend you try the vegan and vegetarian food on offer here, as Karen the host, is a home made food expert keen to offer good interesting meals to vegans and vegetarians too, very generous portions and very tasty. I've had Red Thai Fishless Cakes with salad and mixed rice, and it was lovely. The main fare is traditional pub food but seasonal and all home made from scratch.
