RE: Debbie’s Do Charity BallI am organising a charity ball in October in aid of St Gemma’s Hospice and the Payback Foundation and I write to you on behalf of these charities. I have held this event three times in the past in memory of my mother Debbie who passed away 8 years ago, after suffering for four years with cancer. The support from St Gemma’s Hospice really helped my family and I before, during and after her passing so we began raising money so others could benefit from their services too. The Payback Foundation support Children who have physical, emotional or learning difficulties. They provide grants for specialist items including car seats, sensory equipment, and wheelchairs. Both charities make a huge difference to the lives of people who are suffering, as well as their families. The ball has previously received local press coverage (links to articles below) and was attended by 250 people, some of which were corporate guests. This year we have a much larger venue and we hope to double the amount of attendees. Historically the raffle and auction have proven to be the most successful way to raise money at this event, so I am contacting you to ask if your company can donate a gift or prize in any way.Since both organisations rely heavily on the generosity of the public, and companies like yours all donations will be greatly appreciated. I understand you may get a lot of Charity requests, so thank you in advance for your time.Kindest RegardsEmily Mills Mills.emily1989@hotmail.co.uk07568 551 897 http://eastleedsmag.net/003/d-mills.htmlhttp://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/news/latest-news/top-stories/brave-mum-s-gift-of-hope-1-2101647
