The Lord Binning had a £60,000 makeover in November 2016. Coupled with a brand new menu serving the nationally renowned Rushton Grill, as seen in The Mirror, The Metro and The Lad Bible. The Rushton Grill (£120- £30 pp, it feeds 4) includes 16oz T Bone steaks, belly pork, short bone beef ribs, Cumberland sausages, 10oz gammon steaks along with an abundance of hand cooked chips, honest roasted carrots and beer basted onions with a huge selection of gravies and sauces.
The infamous New Moon Burger is still on the menu. Local suppliers and ingredients are used in The Kelsall Hill Burger accompanied by the house-made ‘Howling at The Moon Sauce' a much coveted New Moon Company secret ingredient sauce.
The first born of the New Moon Co, The Lord Binning opened in summer 2011 with culinary genius David Mooney and hospitality veteran Paul Newman at the helm. David worked with both Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White before spearheading the success of Cheshire favourites like the Belle Epoque in Knutsford, the Duke of Portland in Lach Dennis, and the George & Dragon in Tarvin. Paul is a restaurant operator with a proven track record with both Living Ventures and latterly the award-winning Residence in Nantwich. The food is complemented by an excellent 40-bin wine list that sees most wines available by the glass in three sizes as well as sold at a ‘take-out' price. The Lord Binning is open every day from 11.30am until 11pm weekdays and 11.30pm weekends. Casa Matta at Weaverham, near Northwich, the Old Sessions House in Knutsford and The Montgomery on the Wirral Mockingbird Taproom in Cheshire and Beef & Pudding in Manchester and The Old Blind School

A bloody good BLT at the Lord Binning. Lovely sleepy village, welcoming pub with friendly staff, a roaring fire and WIFI. What more could a businessman on the move require.
