14/10/14. I went with a group of 40 or so people from Polegate and nearby areas. Our choice from the menu was taken quickly and served within half hour of arrival. First course very plentiful and very attractively presented for all choices. Main meal the same - I had roast lamb with better than average roast potatoes and a separate dish of vegetables that stayed hot throughout the meal due to hot plates. All very tasty. Then while struggling to choose from an excellent dessert selection we were offered two specials - one of which was my favourite - Pavlova - that came with crispy meringue with cream filling, a scoop of delicious strawberry ice-cream topped with a decorative biscuit and a generous portion of a decorative tasty jouet of berry fruit.
