My wife and I went to The Nags Head on 19th July after it had been recommended by a number of people. We sat down at 6.30 pm and were the only diners at that time. The menu was varied and we chose the duck. The portions were good but the duck was a strange colour and tough. The parsnip was also tough. To make matters worse the meal was served on cold plates. We were very disappointed and decided not to have a dessert. For £13.50 each we could have had a better meal elsewhere.

Booked a table for three on 19th July and the meal was so good I had mention it here.
Spoilt for choice with a very imaginative menu;I chose a tuna steak with a pineapple salsa sauce-generous portions of veg' too.
A pub plenty of atmosphere and very friendly. A choice of 16 beers!
If I live here this would be my local pub.
