Just a minute or two from Southport train station, The Office is a contemporary-styled restaurant and bar that’s open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Chef-owner Lee Adamson’s menus are firmly based upon local produce and change with the seasons but take inspiration from right across the globe. Starters might include Smoked haddock and chive risotto with soft poached egg and Manchego or Asian chicken salad with noodles, sesame, hoi sin glaze and pickled ginger. Mains range from Beer-battered fish and chips, burger and steak to more elaborate choices such as Braised pork belly, sauteed cabbage, glazed carrots, caramelised apple chutney with a red wine jus. The Office is a stylish choice with a bar and restaurant, a light-filled conservatory area and some al fresco tables for the summer months.
