About The Old Blind School

The Old Blind School is an iconic Grade 2-listed building that after many years of neglect has been lovingly restored in keeping with the building's unique history by the New Moon Co. The 200 plus-cover restaurant is spread across two floors and offers British food, unique fine ales, fantastic wines and a custom made list of cocktails to choose from. Expect eclectic British-inspired decor (the 'hands' installation is a popular feature), indulgent desserts and classic favourites with a twist. All ingredients are sourced in the UK with great emphasis on local produce. New Moon Co sister venues include -- The Lord Binning at Kelsall, the Old Sessions House in Knutsford The Montgomery on the Wirral the Mockingbird Taproom in Cheshire Beef & Pudding in Manchester,Casa Matta in Cheshire and Bronx Bar Knutsford.

When in Liverpool on Thursday last week we realised it was national burger day. Knowing other New Moon Co venues like Beef and Pudding in Manchester, we knew they would have a great burger! We were not disappointed! Awesome feast and great service from the nice young man Anthony.
