SPENT A WEEK IN RED WHARF BAY MIDDLE OF MAY 2011, ATE IN THE OLD BOATHOUSE AND UPSTAIRS 6 TIMES.
EXCELLENT, THEY DO BREAKFASTS AS WELL.

Stopped in with friends for a bank holiday lunch, and found TOBH to be more to our tastes than the perhaps more well known Ship Inn next door.
A busy eatery is always a good sign, as is a willingness to bung a few tables together to cater for the size of your party. Service continued on that note, fast and very pleasant.
The food was unfancy, tasty and well priced. No pretensions to being anything more than than it was. The menu covered a decent range of fish, meat and vegetarian options, and with addition of specials it was quite hard to choose what to eat. Portions were not stingy - and I'm all for a restaurant that can cook a decent new potato.
It would have been nice to see a wider range of non-alcoholic drinks, because lets face it, if you come to Red Wharf Bay, someone had to drive...
