Great food served up by pleasant and helpful hosts, with excellent grounds for BBQ which I was told would become available later in the year. There are also I believe 5 separate rooms for accommodation each with en suite. There is an attached railway carriage to the pub which is used as a restaurant, and tastefully decorated to maintain its unique character. As for the rest of the pub there is always something different to catch your eye whilst enjoying your food ,or just having a quiet drink, like a working model railway above your head or even the front of a car on the wall. Perhaps the old 45s fixed on one of the walls would be of interest. Well worth finding the time to visit, and indulge yourself. I did and have returned more than once.
