I have often eaten at lunchtime at the Pavillion but on Saturday night went for our evening meal on the recommendation of a friend.The service and food were superb.My starter was black pudding bacon and poached egg followed by beautiful lamb. I asked for an extra spoon to sample my husband's starter, scallop chowder-delicious,Lovely steak also. To finish we squeezed in gorgeous lemon roulade.The finishing touch was the smooth vocalist (Saturdays, pianist Fridays). A lovely relaxed evening, a credit to all involved. Definately worth a return visit.
