very unfriendly general attitude of management leaves a lot to be desired. also expensive.

Wow. The new look Priory was great. We went with friends for a walk around Nicky Nook and called for dinner afterwards as I had been told it had changed and had a great chef. I had smoked duck breast and the best lamb chops I've ever tasted and our friends had hand dived scallops starter and char grilled porterhouse steak which were excellent. Definitely going back. Would recommend to anybody.

I had a great lunch outside at the Priory in the picturesque village of Scorton, halfway between Lancaster and Preston. It's a great place to eat whilst visiting the Trough of Bowland. It's got rooms too!
