We went for a meal with our friends for our partners birthdays and it was amazing the food was to die for and the staff were friendly. We will come back.

We took some visitors (2 Danes and 1 Icelander) last night in order for them to experience a British pub, they were very impressed with the food, the surroundings and atmosphere. Well done Ryther Arms for proving that British food is fresh, well prepared and served. The only problem is they now think that all pubs are like this!

A Word Of Caution !!! This Steakhouse Will Ruin Your Opinion of any other steak you ever have again ! No .. I'm Not Kidding Honest !.. Juicy , tasty, tender ,Cooked to perfection Loveliness.....mmmmmm. ! Fantastic, the most juicy succulent steak I have ever eaten. Up to the usual high standards of this my favourite steakhouse ever. Don't bother trying anywhere else, if you fancy a good steak which is cooked exactly as you like it then book a table at The Rythre Arms. Friendly atmosphere, good beer and then the best steaks in the world. Talking to the landlord I found out that this place has been in the family for some time, this being the second generation and they pride themselves on using the finest produce. They have certainly got things right here and I cannot wait to go back

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with good attention to detail. Without doubt the best steaks in the world and with an excellent wine list to match. There is something for everyone on the menu but you must try the steak, my sirloin was cooked to perfection. Treat yourself.

The rythre arms is the best steakhouse I've ever eaten in. Having lived in London for the past 4 years I stll haven't found anywhere that comes close, even travelling the USA nothing compares. The staff are all friendly, the host is welcoming and always comes over for a chat. It's a friendly place that I always look forward to returning to. I really can't speak highly enough of the place, I would recommend the carpetbagger to anyone. And the onion rings are to die for!!!

This is the steak mecca of Yorkshire, if you like steak and you haven't been to the Rythre you are doing yourself an injustice. Not cheap, but then excellence never is. The fillet steak is simply the best you will ever taste. Enjoy.

We had Sunday Lunch here, and it was excellent. I hadn't been for about 9yrs, and my partner hadn't been for 21yrs. The food was great then, and it is the same quality today. ALos same owners since we had both visited! This is a lovely, traditional pub that serves fresh, home made food! No frozen rubbish here! The roast beef was excellent, and cooked to your liking - pink, well done etc. £7.95 for a quality roast dinner, with lovely, efficient friendly service is spot on! The steaks are renowned, so we will definitely go back. Well worth a visit.
