May 2010. Found this pub in a popular pub guide book and thought we would give it a try on a Sunday evening. Very busy especially outside with plenty tables and chairs to sit at with lovely views some situated next to the sea. On entering the pub there is a family room on the left and main bar area on the right. Menu is relatively varied with a focus on fish dishes as you would expect. To eat we tried smoked mussels in a creamy sauce accompanied with chefs bread both nice, swordfish steak in peppercorn sauce (very peppery) which slightly overpowered the fish but still tasty, fish pie and fish & chips both dishes we were slightly disappointed with due to lack
of seasoning/taste
