Perfectly positioned on the East Yorkshire coast next to Sewerby Hall and Gardens and overlooking Flamborough Head and Bridlington Bay, the Ship Inn is a traditional pub serving classic pub grub, wood-fired pizzas, cask ales and craft beers. A distinctive red brick building that’s best viewed from the cliffs, inside it has lots of dark wood, log fires, intimate cubby holes and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a family friendly with a beer garden and children’s play area and dogs on a lead are welcome here too. The menu ranges from homemade pies and fish and chips to burgers and sandwiches and on Sundays don’t miss their Carvery – ‘The Best Roast on the Coast.’ Kids – and doggies – have their own menus too. And new in 2019, Charlouccio’s is their new ‘wood-fired shack’ serving a selection of pizzas and other specialities from two wood-fired ovens. The Ship Inn hosts regular events throughout the year ranging from Sunday afternoon jam sessions in the beer garden to beer and music festivals.
