About The SP Bar

The SP Bar in Andover is a cocktail bar that is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. There’s a great selection of freshly made cocktails alongside a choice of beers and gins. On Fridays and Saturdays the bar is open until 1am. Happy Hour with selected cocktails priced at £5.50 runs all night Thursday and from 4pm to 6pm on Friday and Saturday. The SP Bar also offers very reasonably priced double and single ensuite rooms if you fancy an overnight stay.

Having been to SP Bar many times before as always the service is promp, friendly and fun. The manager is a great guy all round. We always enjoy our selves regardless the size of our party Keep up the good work Ben !

Staff are very prompt with service and friendly. Good music. Cocktails are always great but unfortunately only had 2 gin based cocktails when I visited. Arrived at 10pm on a Friday night and it wasn’t overly busy. Left at midnight and doorman practically slammed and locked the door right behind us which wasn’t great, but wouldn’t put me off visiting again as it’s one of the few classy venues for Andover! Looking forward to the managers opening the new bar up on the market square!

Had a lovely time at the SP bar Saturday 28th January, it was busy with customers but the waitress staff made sure to get our orders in great time. All staff were friendly and focused on making sure everyone had the best time. The cocktails were so tasty.

I love SP bar but as a regular visitor feel it has gone downhill recently. Came on Wednesday night.. Table was very sticky.. Hands therefore got sticky and no hand soap in ladies! Complained about both. Had run out of all the Xmas cocktails bar 2 ( delivery coming the next day!). My cocktail came out 3/4 full.. This happened at my last visit 18th Dec too! Friends prosecco was flat. Not impressed, very disappointed. I hope things improve at the Guildhall as I love the SP bar and wish them well
