There has been a pub on this site since as far back as 1552 and The Sycamore is still at the heart of the local community, doubling up as the village shop. Situated a few miles north of Ashbourne, Parwich sits in beautiful countryside in the midst of the Derbyshre Dales with the Limestone Way passing right through the village. Walkers (and their dogs) can expect a warm welcome with real fires and three dining areas in the recently refurbished pub. There is also an upstairs function room that can seat up to 36 and lots of outside seating including a decked and covered area to the rear. Expect superior pub food which is served lunch and dinner. It’s a Robinsons pub and there are always three cask ales on tap. And once a month they run a live music night here.
