The Taps is rightly regarded as one of the Fylde's best pubs and has recently undergone a full refurbishment including an extended out-side space, perfect for soaking up the rays in summertime. The brick walls and wooden floors add to the beer house feel and have been sympathetically retained in keeping with the pubs charm and character. The Taps is a well-known meeting place attracting people from all walks of life looking for great ale. Take a look at the beer board it has an ever changing selection of both local and traditional beers. The Taps is Cask Marque accredited and a member of SIBA. Landlord Steve Norris recently won the Lancashire CAMRA pub of the year award 2015. This lively pub has also been awarded winner of Blackpool and Fyldes 'Best Bar None' initiative for pubs, CAMRA Pub Of The Year 2011 for the Blackpool & Fylde Coast and Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre 2014 CAMRA Pub of the Year.
The newly refurbed Taps is looking great! A bigger and better al fresco area, increased seating inside and a feminized modernisation that hasn't compromised the integrity of this famous pub. They had my favourite beer on last night, Windermere Pale Ale. While we were there the landlord was presented with The CAMRA Lancashire best pub award. Well done to all. Looking forward to trying the new increased menu options. Cheers.

My first time in the Taps for a long while last night. It seems quieter than it was, however I thought the beer spot on. Taps Best still a great pint. I notice they now offer pies which is good for blotting beer! Staff were very friendly and efficient. I will be going more regular again from now on.

The Taps always has a good selection of beers, ales, etc., a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly.Last night when I visited it wasn’t too busy but it still had its usual atmosphere. I saw a new cider they were doing which I hadn’t come across called Cheddar Valley – I thought it was a cheesy drink at first until I saw Traditional Cider in smaller print below.A great taste of Somerset in a great Lancashire pub.

Brilliant beer with fantastic choice. Good wine too. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Relaxed atmosphere.
Malcontent
The food is good in a hearty kind of way, but go here for the beer.
Taps, The
Not a restaurant really. Lunch served but have not experienced it. Wide selection of real ales and popular with residents and non residents alike. Even when very busy (as is frequent) very friendly.
Taps, The
This isn't a restaurant; it's a (basic) pub. They do some food at lunchtime which, really, is very good.
But it's a real ale pub, nice through the day, but which attracts, rugby types on a Friday & Saturday night.
