I had lunch at The White Lion today with my mother, sister and young son ... Children are not allowed in the bar to eat which we were fully aware of but didn't realise this included not being allowed in there to actually order your food, so if anyone is on their own with a child you would be unable to order???? Also once the food was ready we had sat in the garden to the rear and had someone come and tell us our food was waiting for us on the patio area as they were unable to serve it in the garden which is approx 10 yards away?? It was a lovely sunny day and we had to sit in a small shaded area which was bloody freezing. As for the food it was DELICIOUS ... that's if you like burgers cooked to the point of being black , in the tin macaroni cheese and stale garlic bread. Overall the service was rubbish, and the food vile definitely not worth the £30 + that it cost!!!!
