as our 'review' for The White Swan was sent in error to your site We have now been contacted by the owners of The White Swan and are entirely happy that there were mitigating circumstances why they had to make the decision to close and that we completely understand.They were unable to contact us as they didn't have a contact number and had I fact arranged for us to eat at another local restaurant recommended by them.We did not intend our email to be used as a review it was an attempt to contact the restaurant sent in error to yourselves! The restaurant have said that they would like us to enjoy a complimentary meal in recompense and we are entirely satisfied with their response!We would be very happy to write a review once we have eaten there but as we have stated our email was sent in error to you as an attempt to contact the restaurant please make amends by either removing our original article or printing this e mail!RegardsJane

Hi we were booked in for 7.30 pm New Year's Eve having made reservation by phone only on arrival your restaurant was closed and no lights were on nor signs of anyone present. Another couple also arrived booked for 7.30 as well and we all tried to phone your numbers and knock at various doors on the property to try and find out what was going on! We stayed until nearly 8 pm but then decided to cut our losses and try and salvage what was left of our New Year's Eve and find somewhere else!! Most disappointed having travelled from the Midlands!!!!
