top marks for excellent food at the wild oats, skipton. travelled from windermere for the day and the place was packed, just 2 seats left in the middle of the room, an indication to its success. just had the goats cheese with relish and the tomoto/rocket soup, carrot cake and coffee, my friend had the best salad, full of delicious vegetables and hummus, with his soya milk latte and oat and date slice. friendly quick service to boot, wish it was just around the corner, divine !!

Have had the pleasure of visiting Wild Oats now a handful of times and on each occasion it has been busy - a good indicator of the regular customers who come back to sample more of the delicious food cooked up on the premises. Atmosphere relaxed, food and drinks on the menu offer a good balanced variety. Service/staff warm and friendly. Overall good, wholesome, tasty food and wish there were more eateries like this across the country in every High Street! Lucky Skipton!

I often come to Skipton or pass through it but I had not come across this café till my friends invited me to have lunch here. I am not vegetarian but I love the meals that my friends cook. On the day we visited the specials board featured ciabatia with feta cheese and roast peppers; aubergine and chickpea tagine; and cauliflower and sweet potato crumble. We chose one of each and so I was able to sample all three dishes. I also had chocolate fudge brownies for afters. It was a most satisfying meal and I shall certainly come here again.

My friends brought me to this vegetarian café in Skipton at lunch time. The broccoli and cauliflower cheese bake that I chose was delicious. The chocolate fudge brownie was yummy too. Although I am not vegetarian, I think that this is a great place for lunch in Skipton. I shall certainly come again.

This is a delightful, cosy café situated conveniently for all market and shop users in the centre of Skipton on the opposite side of the town hall. It is popular with both vegetarians and non-vegetarians so is often busy, especially on market days. This is one of the best reasons for visiting Skipton and we make a bee-line here for our lunch everytime we are in Skipton. The entries on the specials board are always very interesting and tempting. The food is great and the service is very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is light an relaxed. Highly recommended.

This is a very popular and busy café situated as it is on the High Street. We make a point of having lunch here whenever we visit Skipton. The entries on the specials board are always very tempting and we often have to make do with our second choice as everyone else seems to have opted for our first choice and it has run out! There are always choices for vegans. Very highly recommended.
