Popped in for a bar meal and decided to have the ham egg and chips, The food was excellent and the portions are enormous (enough for 2) The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful and the the young lad behind the bar was very good at his job as he was the only one serving the drinks and the pub was very busy when I was there. A lot of friendly banter between customers and staff especially from the lad behind the bar who they called ears for some reason made for a very enjoyable visit. I would certainly use this pub again.

The food and service were good, no pressure to 'eat up'! The play area could be updated a bit or expanded for children however I would recommend this to friends.
