Having taken a slight detour going from our Daughters in Manchester to South Wales, we stopped at this watering hole on top of the peaks in thick fog. To walk through the door and be greeted by a real fire and friendly landlord was the start of the pleasure. Being a pig I ordered the mixed grill and my wife the sausage and eggs. They did state it may take time and it did but the wait was worth it. What really made it for us was a thing that we find hard to find in our area but sets it off, REAL CHIPS!!!!
