About The Workshop Bar and Restaurant
The Workshop is a warm and welcoming bar and restaurant located on the border the popular areas of Waterloo and Crosby. Spread over two floors, with a restaurant and raised bar at ground level and restaurant / function room on the 1st floor with stripped back décor, providing a contemporary 'workshop' feel. The eclectic menu is built around meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan small plates with global influences which are ideal for sharing and discovering new flavours. All dishes are freshly made with locally sourced ingredients. Seafood figures prominently on the menu including our Lobster Mac; native lobster, macaroni, parmesan with thermidor sauce, whilst meat eaters can select from dishes including Lamb Rump and Open Steak Sandwiches. We cater for vegetarian and vegans with dishes including Sweet Potato and Goan Curry and Salt Baked Beetroot. And our selection of decadent desserts or choice of cheese and biscuits completing the menu. Food is served from 5pm-10pm Wednesday to Saturday. Sunday Roasts are served from 1pm to the laid back sounds of our Resident DJ, where you can choose 2 dishes for £16.00 or 3 dishes for £18.00. Our busy bar serves a great selection of over 40 wines available by the glass, using the ‘Verre du Vin’ preservation system to keep the wine as fresh as possible, as well as craft beers, gins and Elixirs (cocktails). The Workshop runs a regular programme of events including Open Mic Night every Tuesday, Vinyl Night every first Thursday of the month and a 60s Mod Night every last Thursday of the month.
