I have always been a big fan of the Three arrows pub as the food is fantastic, so this weekend i decided to drag my friends down there instead of there usual weekend hotspot. The bar has not been taken over by new owners (no probs) on arrival the new decor is tacky but the bar has always been know for the food so i was looking forward to that a group of us was given 1 menu to share and when you food came out it went to the wrong table, then a young girl shouted "nana wheres this going?? i cant find em?" the feeling there is that the family there have never run this kind of bar, and when the food came over it was so bad!! so so bad i was gutted.... the fries where nearly black they were so over done! the sausages were raw inside! raw! all the food had a burnt cover on it like it had been left under a hot lamp. All in all a let down, they took some food off the bill but the lunch was ruined i then had to take my friends to my mums house to say sorry and she isnt the best cook at all but everyone agreed the service and food was 150% better than the three arrows

First time we had been there (4 of us), been driving past for years and years and it just never stood out as a place of invitation. However it recently came recommended and with the recent demise of Old Huckies in Heywood we thought we would give it a try. Charming old pub with a happy, chatty atmosphere as warm as toast. The food was excellent, the wine choice of a good standard, efficient service, pleasant staff and interesting customers (there was a 21st party taking place later in the evening lol). Portions were not for the dainty so allow time and overall the value, standard and quality of food was amazing. What a find.
Not quite sure whether it’s a pub or a restaurant but who cares when the menu and food is this good. There was even a disco for when we had finished our meal. This establishment would put many a 5 star restaurant to shame. Compliments to the chef (s) and the front of house staff.
Now for the down side. My only criticism were the toilets, although spotlessly clean, had no soap, toilet paper or heating and could of done with modernisation. I am sure after reading this review all will be rectified.
All in all don’t let this establishment pass you by unnoticed, I guarantee you wont be disappointed in these economically challenging times. Comes with a huge recommendation.

On my visit my little boy nearly picked up a needle of the toilet floor. And while your eating with your young children you will get to hear about the description of the females staff sex life. Absolute appalling experience here do not waste your money and it is dangerous to take your kids in there if heroin users are leaving there needles on the toilet floor. Please dint take young children there!

Do not go here needles on the toilet floor which my 4year old nearly picked up. Disgusting language from a female staff member discussing her detailed disgusting sex life with a colleague absolute terrible experience

We eat here approx once a fortnight as it's conveniently on our doorstep, and we are never disappointed. The menu is really amazing, especially considering the Three Arrows just looks like a local pub from the outside. The award winning food is even more amazing... our favourites include the steaks (huge steaks cooked to perfection) a recent 'special' of lamb, corned beef hash (better than you'd ever imagine!) Garlic bread (with a twist) bangers and mash, brilliant Sunday dinners and puddings to die for... I? not a fan of seafood, but I? often amazed by the mussel bar and lobsters being brought to tables around me! The prices are very reasonable also... considering its normal to pay those kind of prices in other establishments, only to be served bland frozen food... there's not a frozen meal in sight at the Three Arrows!

So glad we tried here - the food was fantastic what a joy to see a new innovative menu like this will definitely be going back again. Well done everyone at the Three Arrows.

This was our 3rd attempt to eat here. The other 2 times we missed service by going too late.
Food was excellent I had a superb fish and chips and the missus had a steak which she thoroughly enjoyed. Everything looked and tasted like it was freshly prepared, not a frozen chip in site. Highly recommended. Ring to make sure before travelling.

Nice atmosphere, family orientated. Large portions. Tastes like home cooking at its best. Reasonable prices.
