The experience we had at this restaurant was exceptional. From walking through the door to walking out we were looked after having all our needs met. The friendly efficient and professional staff were wonderful. Now for the food SUPERB .We could not believe the quality presentation and eye for detail for the money we paid. We eat out regularly and this restaurant is now at the top of our list. The only downside is that we live an hour and a half away across the border ,yes I am loath to say it to Lancashire we cannot compete with you. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough you really have to go .

We were invited to San Marco for a birthday partry and what a treat it was. Great food and service in a stunning restaurant space! The sun was shining and the Al Fresco dining space a perfect place to soak it up.

amazing restaurant, having been dining here, since it opened regularly, travel from southport for lunch and evening meals, fantastic food everytime, lovely building and decor, amazing staff, always so friendly and welcoming, and also when we take my god daughter, they are fantastic with children too, you will not be disappointed, fantastic for lunch and also for that special occasion, hopefully going for lunch today, me and my friend love it and would recommend to all x x

Just been with my Wife and daughter to San Marcos. The restaurant excelled it self. A lovely pleasant atmosphere really good service. With top notch Italian food the way it should be cooked . I visit loads of Italian Restaurants and this is far far the best. 10/10

For that "something special" occasion is how I would describe this flamboyant exquisite place. It offers beautifully styled & spacious dining areas with highly trained waiting on staff & high caliber chefs who produce food for the gods.
A "must try" place. You will not regret it.

I had a meal at Trattoria San Marco , the food was excellent. The restaurant was really bright and had lots of natural light.
This is easily one of the best Italian restaurants within the north west.

I had lunch with a business colleague on Friday 24th September 2010. The 2 course offer of £10.90 is excellent value for money. The quality of the food was amazing and service matched. The atmosphere was great as well with a few Birthday celebrations in for lunch as well. I will definitely be returning!
