About Trattoria Settebello

Situated in a lovely waterside location in the heart of historic Gloucester Docks, Trattoria Settobello is an independent restaurant specialising in southern Italian cuisine and Neapolitan pizza. Inside, there’s a restaurant and separate cocktail bar and outside the dining area spreads over three pretty terraces along with some waterside tables. All the terraces are fully covered with heaters, blankets and lighting. Trattoria Settebello has a choice of 50-plus wines and champagnes as well as draught beers and signature cocktails. There is regular live music, usually on the last Thursday of the month and regular cocktail and pasta masterclasses and special regional cuisine nights.

Staff consistently friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Light and airy dining room, space outside too. Food also consistently wonderful. Its tasty, done well and there is both expected and unexpected dishes, and it appears to be done with care. Downsides, if you are a bit deaf, the room can echo, but they will put you to one side where its better if you ask when booking. Wine choice is good, but could be better if it is to match the quality of the food which is excellent. All in all, a favourite place to eat. Highly recommend.

A lovely evening out with friends. The food was delicious and the team were amazing. Just check your bill though we had to pay £50 deposit when we booked our table which is absolutely fine but when the bill came it was not on there. My friend nearly paid without realising

My group all enjoyed our meals and the service, whilst not fast, was ideal for us as we were able to chat between courses. The restaurant was pretty busy and there was a good atmosphere. I ate the duck breast and it was well presented and delicious. I would eat here again.

A lovely evening, great food and service although we found noise levels too high for us and being near the door was a nightmare with cold gusts of wind coming in every time people came in, left.

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat in the area and then we came across Settebello. With my boyfriend being italian, I was a little nervous to try a random Italian restaurant but we were really impressed with the quality of the food and the setting. Service was good too. Grateful to find this place!
