a delightful pub in the Holme valley serving high quality homemade food- with particular mention to the homemade chips! i have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and struggle to find a local eatery to beat it! the price is very reasonable considering the quality and with excellent service. highly recommended.

The food was very tasty and good value.
I enjoyed the free olives aperitif.
The salad accompanying the main course was delightful, as were the home made chips. I chose pork fillet steak with a peppercorn sauce and was definitely not disappointed with it.
I think we were overcharged for the drinks though. A very small bottle of orange juice was £1.75.
