We chose to have a Take a Way here, with high expectations that it would be good, we were very disappointed, we DO like it hot but both dishes were almost inedible with huge chunks of chilli . One of the starters , a chicken skewer seemed to have been re heated and had lost flavour. At that price it really should be consistently better.

Myself and my husband have recently visited this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious!! We had 2 starters and 2 main dishes and a dessert all for £26.00. You get a large portion and it has a flavour all of its own. Please try it, its fantastic. We are going back there on Thursday night for a meal with our family, there will be 9 of us, i'm spreading the word.
Ex Customer Of Tum Nuk Thai
I was a regular customer of the restaurant as the food was lovely and the prices were not too dear. Until one Wednesday I went there for a meal with my wife. I had the famous Tiger Tears and my wife had the Thai green curry and the food was lovely as usual just that the curry wasn't as nice as we used to have but it was acceptable. The only big problem I found about this restaurant was that lately, the service has been really poor. One night, there was one waitress and a bar staff, which I thought was enough for such a steady night like that. But we waited so long for the waitress to come and get our orders, plus we had to wait so long for the waitress to clear the table for us so we could have our main courses and that really did put us off the food. We we quite angry at the time as we were in a rush and as the restaurant wasn't that busy at all but it seemed that we didn't see much of the waitress in the restaurant area. I wondered where she was and what exactly was she paid to do????? We started looking for a new place to eat out after that and are still trying to find our new favourite place. If Tum Nuk Thai doesn't improve its quality of service, it will lose many more customers just like they lost us!!!!

A group of 8 of us ate here last Saturday and I have not got a bad word to say about the place!
The ambience was delightful and the staff so friendly.
The food was amazing. My partner recommends the "Tiger Tears" steak which he loved.
Most items on the menu could be ordered with chicken, pork, beef, prawn, salmon or just veg so there was plenty of choice for everyone. The vegetarian option is almost half the price too so it was a bonus for me.
The noodles are gorgeous here, better than plain bland noodles I have had at other Thai restaurants and the sticky rice was also very nice.
I cannot recommend the choclate cake that I had for dessert enough - it was absolutely amazing!
Price wise it was decent. It was £190 for 8 of us and that included 3 bottles of wine at a tenner each.
We will definitely return for another fantastic meal.

We were in Halifax last month and went to the Thai restaurant that was recommended by our friends which whom working in one of the bank in Halifax. The restaurant name is ?um Nuk Thai?and it was hidden behind the pub. We were in Halifax many times before but didn? notice. My husband and I love Thai food so we went to this restaurant and we were very surprised by the ambience and the atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was very nice and friendly. The food is very much authentic to the food we have had in Thailand. We had Tum Yum Goong, Tiger Tears and the best Chu Chee Sea Bass ever. We will visit again and will recommend it to our friends about our experience there.
