Turkish Delight is at the top of my list as Turkish restaurants go in Chorlton. The menu is top notch and my friend and I could not wait to be seated, its a very popular place in Chorlton and well loved for the top food that is on every day of the week. TD is a fave place to be after work and the take away is fab, but as it was a special occasion , we spent it there celebrating, the meal was exquisite , we shared our starters, my friend had a medley of prawns that had us drooling and the same went for the vegetarian starters ! we opted for Lamb on a bed of onions and mushrooms - and was cooked to perfection. The service and value for money is amazing, and it shows, this family run business is in a niche of its own, and rightly so, its integrity and passion for food cannot be surpassed. It really is true to its name and certainly is a ' Turkish Delight'! Thanks for a great evening guys!!!!

The takeaway and restaurant have to be the finest examples of both in the North West. To be honest, trading standards should insist that other takeaways call their meat/pitta/salad combinations something other than 'kebab' as this should be reserved for Turkish Delight alone! The tomato sauce and hot chilli sauce are to die for, as is the excellent hummus. Don't forget to ask for it on yufka!

We just had takeaway chicken kebabs from Turkish delight and I must say i was surprised when we ordered the turkish naan bread (instead of pitta) which is an extra 30p and saw it come out of a packet and thrown on top of our meat on the grill. The Kebab was NOT tasty, the chicken was watery, bread dry and i've had much better kebabs elsewhere, where you get fresh naan and it's cheaper than Turkish Delight too!

This is a true kinda hidden gem in Chorlton. I saw hidden as the front of the restaurant is a turkish takeout, and a very busy popular one at that. Once through the takeout in the front, you enter a wonderful atmosphere of local, friendly, accommodating charm and that is just the service. The food is amazing, and the whole experience just fantastic. After returning from Turkey last year from a holiday, it's wonderful to have some of that lovely Turkish hospitality coupled with fabulous, fresh, tasty cuisine.

Went for Mothers Day last night, for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was a bit confused when we arrived outside, just seeing the take away part but then was nicely surprised when we walked through to the restaurant at the back. Friendly and welcoming service. Food was delicious. Already thinking about my return visit!!
Excellent!

I had the falafel and the small filo pastry parcels stuffed with feta ans spinach and deep fried. Wow! Along with my kofta kebab on flat bread. Yum Yum!! My favourite Kebab shop/Restaurant in Manchester. Everything is freshly prepared daily, the chickens are boned whole and rolled for the kebabs. Even the doner is prepared in house by top quality Lamb. They even mince their own neck fillets for the kofta.
If you haven't been... you need to.
