Lovely food, really relaxed atmosphere

Myself and my wife ate at the Istanbul for the first time on Monday evening, what a fantastic place the food was the best the best i have had in didsbury, and the staff treated us like old friends , i would recommend to anybody, but make sure you are hungry because the portions are massive, we are going back this weekend.

I dined at the Istanbul Grill on 28th June 2011 with a friend. It was quiet as it was a Tuesday evening which was as expected. On arrival however our waiter was surly and inattentive. The service however was the least of my complaints. The food is mediocre at best and overly priced for what you get. The menu is misleading in that the dishes are not adequately described and so when one of the dishes we ordered actually turned out to be honey glazed chicken, we were surprised as the description was completely wrong. It was clear that neither my friend and I hadn't enjoyed our meal but the waiter could not have cared less! Very disappointing and I would not go there again.

Recently visited Istanbul Grill Restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday, fantastic evening. The food is great very tasty with large portions, service excellent, staff very welcoming, all in all an excellent evening, looking forward to my next visit

Since it has changed hands, the food has gone downhill. What i ordered of the menu and what I got were 2 different things, the food and the service was awful - will NOT be going again!

Have been going to Istanbul Grill for a few month's , would highly recommend it to any body , the food is superb freshly cooked extremely tasty.You are made to feel very welcome , never hurried , the staff are wonderful. It has an open kitchen which i like & it is very very clean , definitely one of my favourites .

Went last night to Istanbul grill, food was excellent. The facilities were very clean, the service was very good aswell. The staff were dead friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. This would be the best Turkish restaurant I've have ever been, out of all the others i have went to.

Went last night to Istnabul grill, food was excellent and very freshly cooked. I would give it 10?10!!! Service was fantastic, they never rushed us with our food. We had our starter, and our waiter asked us if we were ready to have our main course. Atmosphere very friendly, and very clean. Can't wait to come again!!!. I highly recommend this to any other people.

Last Thursday, my family and friends went to Istanbul Grill to have our meal. The food was freshly made and absolutely gorgeous, the service was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean, including the facilities. I very highly recommend other people to come here.
